Sana was chosen for the lead role in the Pakistani Urdu language romantic comedy film “Mehrunisa We Love You.” The screenplay for the film was written and directed by Yasir Nawaz, with production undertaken by Nida Yasir, Yasir Nawaz, and Hassan Zia. Simaab Sen composed the music for the film, which was officially released under the YNH Films banner in Pakistan on June 26, 2017.
In this film, Sana played the main role of ‘Mehrunisa,’ alongside Danish Taimoor as ‘Ali,’ Jani portrayed by Sakib Sami; Banti played by Kavi Khan; Javed Sheikh as Miyan Bhai; Nida Mumtaz as Hazra; Nayar Ijaz as Marzi; Arshad Mahmood as Dr. Najib; Zain Nazar as Karishma, and others.
The film had an estimated budget of around 40 million Pakistani Rupees and garnered approximately 122.5 million Pakistani Rupees at the box office, making it a successful venture.
